  • Electronics- The science of electronics is a fast moving and much sought after subject today. Electronics, which evolved as a branch of Physics, has grown into a separate and distinct subject due to rapid development in technology. 

  • To cater to the growing demand of the Industry and Technology. The B. Sc (Electronics) was introduced in Sir C R Reddy college for Women during the Academic Year 1991-1992 with the combination of Mathematics and Physics (MPE) with the approval of Andhra University, the affiliating body of the college. 

  •  Electronics with the combination of Mathematics and Computer Science (MECs) was started during the year 2001-2002. 

  • The Department of Electronics occupies a substantial share in the Institution in terms of the strength of both students and faculty. 

  • The Department is functioning with 03 Qualified, Knowledgeable and Experienced Teaching and Non-Teaching staff. 

  • Department consists of well-equipped laboratory. One faculty member has Completed M.Tech and she published Articles in national Research Journal.

  • One Faculty member has completed courses in online mode offered by NPTEL in SWAYAM.

Highlights of the Department:

    • The Department has achieved Percentage of 80% to 100%.
    • The Department offered various Value added and Add on courses such as PCB Design , VLSI Design Using FPGA.
    • The Department arranged various Community Service Projects and Internship programmes in association with various companies.
    • All Faculty members use ICT based Teaching- Learning procedures in their teaching pattern.
    • The Department is having a Electronics Lab
    • The Department has MOUs with Institutions for the benefit of the students.
    • Electronics students also participated in various events organized by various colleges Electronics students did the embedded and IOT based Projects
